A Good Library To Visit in Yogyakarta - Grhatama Pustaka
Grhatama Pustaka is the biggest library and the icon of YogyakartaHi. This time i will tell may experience when i visit a nice library near my house. This place called Grhatama Pustaka Yogyakarta, or GTP. I think this library is the really nice place to visit when you live or came to Yogyakarta. I call it A Place of Peacefulness.

Grhatama Pustaka
GTP located in Jalan Janti, Wonocatur, Banguntapan, Bantul. Specifically this place near to Jogja Expo Center (JEC). Or you can search at Google Maps (view the link bellow). This is not the one and only library on Yogyakarta, but to my opinion this is the best place to chill. GTP crowned as the icon of library center in Yogyakarta.
What can you expect when visit this library?
Well as my experince, when you arrive to this place you will not doubt with this library. The building will automatically amazed with the architecture. Grahatama was built on land with an area of 2.4 hectares with special characteristic. Based articel i look in Tribun Jogja, it has 4 minarets that reflect the philosophy of Javanese perfection which includes Prakoso, Wulung, Wangi, and Agung.

Exploration
In the inside of this library, first you will see the giant door to enter the main library. Beside the door you will se the front office or customer service that will welcome you. And when you turn left, beside the main door, you will see the locker receptionist. You can store your belongings, like bags, in the locker room. As the assurance you need to leave your ID to locker receptionist when you want to use the locker. FYI, when you enter the book room, you will not allowed to bring backpacks.
It all cost? Off course NO! This facility is free.
Then when you inside, you will see two imitation garden that you can chill. In this garden you can sit or even sleep on the grass, haha. In this area you still allowed to bring foods and bags.

But if you prefer with a vvip room, you can visit the main book room. This room located in left building from the main enter. In this room you can chilling on a bean bag and full AC. I usually take a little nap in this room while writing or reading.
The extra of this library is, you can borrow a portable reading table. When you want to borrow it, you just take it near the receptionist of the room, then you put in that place again when you finish.

Beside that two best place inside Grhatama, there is another room you need to explore. This library also have cinema room (FREE!) with some listed film you can enjoy. And Grhatama also have 6D Cinema, with some cool effect. This 6D cinema cost Rp 10.000 with some listed film and schedule.
When you hungry, you can enjoy the food in the cafeteria in 2nd floor (beside the main book room). But i think the cafeteria is not really good.
In the outside, you will see large grassland that can enjoy. I never try this one, but maybe i will try and tell you again about the grassland.
I do really like to pass my day in this library cause it really worth to visit. Hope you are not doubt to go in this biggest and good library in Yogyakarta.
